With the Matchmaking tool on Sleeper, you can open your league up to the public and find users who have similar league interests. So if you need users for a keeper and PPR league, you can set those filters to help find those people.

You can also search and view public leagues yourself, and join any that match your criteria.

Viewing and publishing leagues to Matchmaking is only possible in the mobile app. Once you're in a league, though, that is available on the web app.

Finding a league to join

You'll want to go to your list of leagues in the left panel, and tap on the plus icon as if you were creating a new league. At the bottom of that screen, you'll see an option like this:

After tapping that, we'll ask you to narrow down your preferences of what you're looking for:

Then, you'll see a list of leagues appear and you'll have the option to join any of those. You can see toward the right side of the screen how many spots are remaining in that league:

You'll also notice that some leagues say "Join" and some say "Request". This is up to the commissioner on if they want to approve users joining their league or not. Just as for any league on Sleeper, we give commissioner full control in their leagues and who they want in them.

Publishing a league to Matchmaking

You can publish any league to matchmaking as long as it has open spots and is in pre-draft mode.

Under the Draft tab and Invite Friends To Play areas, you'll see a prompt that allows you to open the league to the public:

You'll be able to set your league entry fee (which is handled manually/offline), custom note, and your post type:

You'll get a push notification and/or an email every time a user joins your league or requests to join it, and then you can accept or deny any of those requests.

In addition to just posting your league, you can actively recruit other Sleeper users, which can help get your league filled up quicker.

Disable Matchmaking

If you want to be removed from getting invites for leagues, you can disable any or all of your preferences. To do this, tap on the settings icon in the top-right corner:

You can toggle your options on or off as desired:
